By now you may have heard that Goggle has updated the interface of its wildly popular Facebook simulator, Goggle Puss. And you may be saying to yourself:
Hey, I use Goggle Puss! I wonder how I can realign my paradigms and socially revolutionify my interactive hypermedia branding experience with this excruciating new interface?Well, fear not! I am here with everything you need to know to extract maximum enjoyment out of this...thing.
So TERA's final closed beta was last weekend and I got to play some more of it. I really like it. The combat is a lot more fun than the average MMO and the game looks really great. I was really skeptical before I got my hands on the game, since I've heard that it completely tanked in Korea. Though considering the kind of game they find fun, maybe that's a good sign. I've heard some complaining about the controls, but I got used to them in about two minutes. I didn't find playing with the 360 pad to work very well, however.
I did run across some YouTube videos that demonstrate some problems with the world construction, but it doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother the guys in the videos. Based on my experience, you only see the rough edges if you go exploring away from where the quests are sending you. I link the videos not to dump on the game, but because they're kind of interesting to see.
Anyway, open beta starts in about a week and a half, and I really recommend trying it out.
Most April Fools' Day bullshit on the internet annoys the fuck out of me.
This may be the one thing that doesn't:
Pop quiz, hotshot!
What do you do when one of your employees refuses to whore himself out to your new overlords when your company is acquired?
If you chose #3, congratulations! Our psychological profile indicates you have a strong tendency to make shitty games and whore yourself out for cheap gold watches! You resent people who have principles and you are prone to lash out in ways that make you the laughingstock of your industry and may get you sued! Friends and relatives wonder how you stand up so straight when you clearly have no spine.
I mean really, who doesn't like herpes?
In other news, as if you needed another reason to uninstall Flash, Adobe now wants to tax successful Flash games.
Next week, we'll discuss Home Depot's controversial new demand for 10% of the sale price of any home built using its tools or materials.
And in June, we'll feature coverage of Comcast's decision to add a 25% convenience fee to all financial transactions conducted by its customers.
Breaking: General Motors announces plans to bill customers who use their GM-built cars to drive to work. Stay tuned for more important developments as they happen!
Maybe we should all just spend some time in Namibia while this all sorts itself out.
In the meantime, entertain yourself with the following videos. They don't require Flash:
Klingon ain't easy but it's necessary:

Welcome back to another exciting edition of Freedom Haters of the Week!
At #4 on our list today, the Spanish recording industry!
Congratulations, señoras! (That's a little Español there, for our international friends!)
Third-rate in...well, basically any way you care to measure, our next "winner" is the TSA!
Great job guys! Now, don't you have some children to molest?
Corporate ethics, caricatures, ripping off competitors, spamming people on Facebook, retaining employees that have the tiniest scrap of self-esteem — Zynga is second-best at nearly everything they do...like being on this list!
Wow! Can't say I've fucked any games lately Mark (though not for lack of trying!), but I'll give it a "shot"! Thanks!
But this week's grand prize — and it's really no surprise — goes to England! Putting the "u" in "Freedoumme" since at least last week!
Brilliant show, chaps! Throw another shrimp on the barbie for me, eh?
That's all for now folks! Tune in some other time for another scrotum-tingling edition of Freedom Haters of the Week!

Your government will destroy you long before any towelhead can.
But maybe we shouldn't talk about it.
At least the UK is only spying on your insurance information. Not — you know — everything. You didn't need your car anyway, right? Besides, you chaps should be used to it by now, so stop whining, yeah?
But it's not all doom and gloom! Windows 8 is coming!
Anyone else down for learning Chinese?
